Tuesday, March 3, 2020 – Less than a week after Adrenaline’s teams competed in the Dover Bowl-A-Thon fundraiser to benefit at-risk youth in the Seacoast, the company’s New Hampshire office gave back to its local community again through the Day of Service program. On Thursday, February 20, the company gathered volunteers together to work with the Southeast NH Habitat for Humanity on building an ADA compliant home addition for a local disabled Veteran and wheelchair user.
The Adrenaline team helped with the construction of an accessible bedroom and bathroom on the main floor, including painting, door installation and bathroom fixture assembly. Veteran Mike Beauregard and his family are the recipients of the addition to their home. A true community effort, companies from across the area have donated their time and talent to support this local veteran. Following Adrenaline’s efforts on February 20, the addition to his home was finished a week later on Friday, February 28, 2020.
Lynda McPhee, Adrenaline’s coordinator for Day of Service activities says, “Our volunteers never cease to amaze me. Adrenaline’s team supporting Habitat for Humanity in February included Trish Mahoney, Greg McCabe and Kevin Barnes whose efforts really made a difference for the Beauregard family. The construction on the wheelchair accessible addition was completed only a week later. This kind of hands-on way of giving back to our community is a continual source of company pride and inspiration.”
