Tuesday, April 20, 2021 – As part of Diamond Awards Week, The CUNA Marketing & Business Development Council announced the winners of the CUNA Diamond Awards through a series of daily virtual award ceremonies from Monday, April 12 through Thursday, April 15, 2021. Featuring outstanding work in 35 categories, Adrenaline and our credit union partners were honored in three categories – Logos, Digital Advertising and Financial Education.
“The Diamond Awards competition is the most prestigious competition for excellence in marketing and business development in the credit union industry,” according to Amy McGraw, CUNA Diamond Awards Chair. “Credit unions that receive these awards should be extremely proud of their accomplishments and know that their work represents the very best examples of creativity, innovation, relevance and execution.”
The CUNA Diamond Awards recognizes exceptional efforts in credit union marketing and business development. With 1,278 entries submitted, competition was stiff in this annual awards program recognizing and rewarding creative excellence and outstanding results in credit union marketing. Two of Adrenaline’s entries received an even higher designation as best-in-category winners for creative excellence and outstanding results.
Building on the success of a local institution that has been the custodian of community trust for more than 80 years, Citadel’s brand reflects its past strength married to the energy and vision of new generations. As part of a larger brand repositioning, Citadel partnered with Adrenaline to develop a visual identity system that would powerfully represent the brand across platforms – a modern Citadel, a source of enduring strength and forward momentum. The logo was the linchpin of the visual system. The icon is a hexagonal shape grounded by one of nature’s most stable geometric forms, rooting the brand in a foundation of strength and trust.
To engage with different audiences, Town & Country FCU created new programmatic ads to create new connections. Already effective in reaching people looking for financial services in search, programmatic ads would widen and deepen the footprint of Town & Country as an ideal financial services partner for members by tapping into people’s passion. Made for audiences who identify with certain lifestyle aspirations – whether they’re Foodies, Gamers, Sports Fans or Pet Lovers – the programmatic ad campaign deepens digital engagement strategies to help the credit union ignite interest and create connections in the growing lifestyle space.
How do you make financial planning an engaging, fun and practical experience for an audience that spans up to four different generations? That’s what Workers Credit Union partnering with Adrenaline sought to do with the development of a new in-branch touch-enabled App that matches up people and products and service categories to make their most ambitious financial dreams come true. By focusing in on target audiences, centering who they are and what life stage they’re in and, perhaps even more importantly, what their biggest financial goals are, Workers was able to truly connect financial services resources to the needs and life-stages of real people seeking to do real things with their money.
The CUNA Diamond Awards are the credit union industry’s most prestigious awards, recognizing both creative excellence and outstanding results for credit union outreach campaigns.
